We require to appoint a Utility Consultant to be based in our Edinburgh office to support our commercial management team based in Scotland.


Hours: 37.5 hrs/week.

Salary: Dependent on experience

We require to appoint a Utility Consultant to support our Commercial Property Management team based in Scotland with the role being in the Edinburgh office.

The key duties will be focused on daily communication with our own property management team and to provide them with support for all Utility related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all utility contracts for the properties we manage.
  • Managing a database to store all utility account details, supply details, contract information, online portals information etc.
  • Sourcing and agreeing new competitive utility contracts.
  • Processing change of Tenancy Applications.
  • Dealing with all general enquiries, providing support to our property managers and resolving any disputes.
  • Undertaking sub-meter recharge calculations for billing purposes.

Skills/Experience – Essential

  • Utility contract experience
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel

Skills/Experience – Desirable

  • Experience of working in a property related environment
  • Experience of a property management database
