JOB DESCRIPTION
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 Salary: Competitive. Variable dependent on experience. We require to appoint a Graduate or Apprentice Surveyor to be based in our Montrose office to assist our qualified surveyors in the undertaking of residential valuations including Home Reports and Mortgage Valuations. A successful apprentice candidate would work full time while working towards the RICS degree course online via Napier followed by the APC assessment while a graduate candidate will work towards their Qualification APC assessment. Both options would see the candidate working alongside qualified surveyors to assist in the provision of residential valuations. As the candidate gains more experience their responsibilities will increase as they become more able to assist their senior colleagues.Key Responsibilities
- Provide reliable assistance to senior colleagues
- Manage existing client relationships
- Provide excellent client service in an accurate and time efficient manner
- Work towards the successful completion of the APC assessment and/or Napier degree
- Excellent telephone manner and one to one communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Driving licence
- Effective time management
- Competent working knowledge of IT software including Microsoft

Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 Salary: Competitive. Variable dependant on experience. Key duties will be focused on providing excellent client service in the provision of residential valuation work. Clients will include national lenders, national and local estate agents and private clients. The successful candidate will also be expected to manage existing clients whilst forge new business connections.Key Responsibilities
- Providing residential valuations including Home Reports, Mortgage Valuations and Private client valuations
- Managing existing client relationships
- Generating new business relationships
- Keeping up to date with current legislation changes
- Excellent telephone manner and one to one communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Driving licence
- Experience of undertaking residential valuations
- Experience of working in the local area advertised
- Competent working knowledge of IT software including Microsoft
